14-20th July 2026 10 people Jepara & Karimun Jawa
Productive by the Beach, Slow by Choice
a beachfront retreat in Jepara, ending in Karimun Jawa seafront house

7 days 6 nights
Jepara & Karimun
max. capacity 10 person
A beachfront stay!
You’ve been looking at the same walls, replying to the same group chat, ordering the same coffee every morning. Not burned out exactly — maybe just craving something different. A new view from your laptop. Conversations that surprise you. People who live a little differently than you do.
This trip is seven days of the feeling.
Beachfront mornings before work, slow afternoons by the water, journaling sessions, zine making, photo hunt bingo, island hopping, snorkeling, bonfire nights, and the kind of late conversations that somehow make strangers feel familiar.
A small group of travelers, remote workers, and creatives gathering somewhere beautiful, simply to live a little differently for a while.
And honestly, that might be exactly what you’ve been needing :)

This trip is for the remote worker who still opens their laptop on vacation and feels no guilt about it.
For the person with a project they’ve been meaning to start, ideas they want to revisit, or simply a need for a different rhythm for a while.
For people who enjoy meaningful conversations, slow mornings, beautiful spaces, and being around others without constantly having to “perform.”
A beachfront stay, good people, intentional activities, and enough space to work, rest, create, and reconnect.
Sometimes, you just need somewhere new to feel inspired again :)

About Us
Hi, we’re Paskah and Raihana!
Over the years, we’ve found ourselves craving the kind of community that feels natural and effortless, where people can simply show up as they are, connect genuinely, and leave feeling a little lighter than before.
Through Why Not Weekend, a community platform built since 2022, Paskah creates gatherings and curated experiences for travelers, remote workers, and creatives who value meaningful connection. Raihana is a professional photographer, writer, and visual storyteller with years of experience in the commercial industry, now focusing on documenting people, places, and honest moments that make experiences feel real.
We’re both in our 20s, still figuring things out as we go, but certain about one thing: the best moments happen when you’re around the right people. A room full of near-strangers, late night conversations, accidentally picking up each other’s little habits, and somehow going home slightly different than when you arrived. That feeling stayed with us.
This trip is our way of recreating it intentionally :)

We met properly in January 2026, in Tabanan. Paskah had thrown together a spontaneous girls trip — seven people, a lot were strangers to each other. Raihana was on her own side quest, riding across Java on a motorbike, and had been meaning to finally spend real time together. So she came.
It started with late night conversations. Stories traded in the dark, the kind you don't usually get to until much later in a friendship, except here, it happened in days. But it wasn't just the big conversations. It was watching how each person moved through their day. The small habits, the things they noticed, the way someone made their morning or filled their afternoon. You start to borrow from each other without realizing it. You go home slightly different.
That's what Jepara Escape is. We're just doing it again, with slightly more people, and a beachfront!
